Return & Refund Policy

1. Return Eligibility
We accept returns under the following conditions:
- Perishable items (fruits, vegetables, dairy, meat): Must be reported within 24 hours of delivery
- Non-perishable items: Can be returned within 7 days of delivery
- Items must be in their original, unopened packaging
- Items that are damaged, defective, or not as described qualify for immediate return/replacement
2. Non-Returnable Items
- Opened food items (unless defective)
- Items marked as "Final Sale"
- Customized or personalized products
- Downloadable software or digital products
3. How to Initiate a Return
- Log in to your FreshMart account
- Go to "My Orders" and select the order
- Click "Return Item" next to the product
- Select the reason for return and submit
- Our team will arrange a pickup within 24-48 hours

4. Refund Process
- Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days after the return is received and inspected
- Refunds are credited to the original payment method
- For COD orders, refunds are issued as store credits or bank transfer
5. Exchanges
We currently do not offer direct exchanges. To get a replacement, return the original item and place a new order.
6. Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled before they are dispatched. Once dispatched, orders cannot be cancelled (return policy applies). To cancel, go to "My Orders" and click "Cancel Order."
